About the Role
At Digital Funnel, we help brands grow through SEO, Digital PR, Paid Ads, Web Design, and Strategy. We’re growing fast, our team and client base have doubled over the past year – and now we’re looking for a Junior Digital Marketing Executive who’s ready to learn, work hard, and become the next big name in digital marketing.
This is not a “coffee run” junior role. You’ll be hands-on from day one – learning from experienced marketers, managing real campaigns, and building the skills to thrive in a competitive industry.
Your Mission
You’ll support our SEO program and wider marketing campaigns, working closely with our SEO Specialist, Digital PR team, and Paid Ads managers.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Content Management: Writing, proofreading, researching ideas, and creating briefs for senior writers.
- On-Page SEO: Keyword research, content strategy, and optimisation recommendations.
- Technical SEO: Learning how to ensure websites meet modern search engine requirements.
- Meta Business Suite: Assisting with Facebook & Instagram ad campaigns, content scheduling, and performance reporting.
- WordPress Content Management: Uploading, formatting, and optimising website content, blog posts, and landing pages.
- LinkedIn Campaigns: Supporting B2B marketing initiatives through LinkedIn Ads and organic content posting.
- Digital PR: working with a Digital PR journalist for external promotion of clients’ websites
- Google Ads: Assisting with campaign setup, monitoring, and reporting.
- AI & LLMs: Learning how to use large language models and AI tools in digital marketing for content creation, campaign optimisation, and strategic decision-making.
What You’ll Learn
- How to optimise websites for search visibility and keyword growth.
- The ins and outs of technical SEO and content marketing.
- How to manage and deliver client campaigns across social media, search, and email.
- How AI and large language models (LLMs) are changing digital marketing – and how we use them strategically for our clients.
- Professional project management processes used by leading agencies.
- How to work as part of a fast-moving, high-performance marketing team.
What We’re Looking For
Must-haves:
- Must be living in Cork and able to work from our Cork office 3 days a week.
- Native-level English (written and spoken) – strong communication skills are essential.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading ability.
- Familiarity with WordPress & Canva.
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Basic knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and Google Keyword Planner.
Bonus points for candidates with any of these hard skills:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) – confident in tracking and interpreting data.
- Running active Google Ads campaigns (Search or Display).
- Copywriting for web and ads.
- Advanced Canva design skills and knowledge of branding and graphic design principles
- Strong WordPress experience (building pages, troubleshooting, plugins).
- Having a real SEO case – for example, having completed keyword research, prepared content for a page, and tracked the results.
Why Join Digital Funnel?
- Training from industry experts – learn from some of the best in SEO, PPC, AI, and digital strategy.
- A supportive, fun culture – confident but humble, competitive but collaborative.
- Real career growth – our business is expanding year-on-year, with very exciting plans for the next 3 years.
Gym membership · Company laptop · Early finish on Fridays · Hybrid working · Extra day off for your birthday · Additional annual leave for each year of service · Paid professional development opportunities.
